My name is Christopher Jones (MAR). Thank you for taking the time to view the contents of my website and I hope that you will like what you find and how I can help you.
I am a qualified Level 5 Clinical Reflexologist based in Bury. Level 5 is currently the highest qualification for reflexology in the U.K.
I trained at Jubilee College of Reflexology in Nottingham (rated as being ‘Outstanding’ by Centralia at the 2020 school’s verification awards). My tutor was David Wayte who is the founder of Jubilee College and was the first Reflexologist in the UK to be made a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
I consider having achieved such a high standard in Reflexology as being remarkable as my parents were once told that I would probably never even walk or talk. When I was eight months old, I lost all my development and thanks to the wonder of medical intervention, I slowly began to recover everything that I had lost.
During my childhood, I was supported by lots of health and education professionals with the aim of enhancing every aspect of my development and I think this is the reason why I became so interested in both physical and emotional health and well-being.
I started my career as a Reflexologist by first completing a Level 2 course in Complementary Therapy (which included Reflexology). As I enjoyed the course so much, I then followed this up by completing both the Level 3 and Level 4 courses in Complementary Therapy.
I then decided to specialise in Reflexology as this approach not only suited me but also, I saw the wonderous benefits that Reflexology provides.
I was lucky enough to be offered a position as a volunteer Reflexologist within the Renal Unit of a local hospital and I have remained there since 2016. I always get good feedback from the patients who are receiving dialysis, family members and the staff.
Reflexology is used by all age groups to improve both physical and mental health, helping your immune system, alleviating stress and a wide variety of ailments.
